Private beta. The Privacy Policy below reflects how we actually handle data on this site today, in plain English. The Terms of Service are still a template. We'll have both reviewed by counsel before general availability.
Privacy Policy
This describes, in plain terms, what HelpBento (“we”, “us”) collects on this website and why. It covers the marketing site and the private-beta waitlist; the full in-product privacy policy will be published before general availability.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your company name and work email, plus the optional company size and current tool if you share them. When you subscribe to updates, we collect your email. Automatically, we collect privacy-friendly, aggregate usage stats (see “Cookies & analytics”). We don’t build advertising profiles.
How we use it
To contact you about your beta invite and the updates you asked for, and to understand in aggregate how the site is used so we can improve it. We never sell your personal information, and we don’t share your email with advertisers.
Cookies & analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics and our own conversion counts are cookieless and aggregate: they don’t identify you and run without a banner. Google Analytics (GA4) sets cookies, so it only loads if you accept in the cookie banner; decline and it never runs. Our support chat widget stores what it needs to hold a conversation if you open it.
Who processes your data
Google Firebase / Google Cloud (stores waitlist and newsletter sign-ups and aggregate events), Google Analytics (only with your consent), and Cloudflare (serves the site and provides cookieless analytics).
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist and newsletter details until you ask us to delete them or you unsubscribe. Aggregate analytics are retained only in summary form.
Your choices
Email us any time to access or delete your information, or to unsubscribe. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights (access, correction, portability, deletion), which we’ll honour.

Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of HelpBento. The clauses below are generic templates and don’t form a binding agreement until they’re finalized and reviewed by qualified counsel.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the service lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it. A detailed acceptable-use policy should be appended here.
Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. Renewal, cancellation, and refund terms should be specified by counsel before launch.
Intellectual property
The service, including its software and branding, is owned by HelpBento. You retain ownership of the content you create and grant us a limited license to host and display it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and our liability is limited. The precise limitations and disclaimers should be drafted by counsel.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
